First marriage to Captain Nunan late in life added a sparkle to her eye and a skip to her step that she had for the rest of her life.  She kept a reading corner for children in her store and lured children to it with a pet frog who  wandered freely.  The grown children I have spoken to remember going to see the frog but staying for the story hour.  Now that's teaching!
